Addiction is uncomfortable. It’s scary. It isn’t glamorous. But the conversation is necessary. What happens when you put one thing down and pick up another? Someone is overdosing in front of you. Would you know how to respond? What if you love someone who doesn’t want to stop? What if you don’t want to stop? What if you do everything “right” and still want to use? Come with questions. Come unsure. Come using. Come sober. Come because you love someone who uses. Come because you don’t understand any of this yet. Addiction affects us and the people we love. Let’s have the conversations we usually avoid. Free. Everyone is welcome. Individual counselling is available upon request.
