Last August, my husband and I moved here with our two children. We both had well-paying jobs in China but wanted our kids to have a world-class education and a life closer to nature. We knew this country offers ample opportunities to newcomers. And we were proven right, thanks to CCSYR. I learnt about the organization from the local library. The staff shared essential information on housing, community activities, school enrollment and many more so we could start a new life smoothly. But above everything, what mattered most was their motivation. One of the workshops on how to start a small business piqued my interest. Comprehensive and resourceful, the workshop inspired me to establish an education consultancy firm for international students. My prior work experience in arranging international student exchange programs will come in handy in running the firm successfully.
