We invite you to our in-person Volunteer Information Sessions (VIS), where you will learn more about CCSYR, our mission, and how you can get involved as a volunteer.
These in-person sessions provide an opportunity to learn about the volunteer application process, what to expect as a volunteer, and how your skills can make a difference. You will also have time to ask any questions you may have.

- Applicants are expected to arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Late arrivals (more than 10 minutes after the start time) may not be admitted.
- Please request the volunteer application form at the reception, complete it, and sign it upon arrival at the centre.
- Volunteer opportunities are limited, and not all applicants will be accepted.

Hiring Fundraising Volunteers
CCSYR is a non-profit organization, and our vision is helping individuals, and their families thrive and grow in relationship with one another and within our community. Our aim is âreaching out to allâ. CCSYRâs four core service streams include: counselling, settlement, employment, and community engagement. We are the sole settlement service provider across both school boards and libraries in York Region. Additionally, we are one of five lead agencies that operate the Welcome Centres in York Region.
Are you local to Richmond Hill and looking to make a meaningful difference in your community? Join our team as a Bingo Volunteer in Richmond Hill and help support funding for essential Autism programming and initiatives. Your contribution is vital to keeping our impact in the community growing!
What Youâll Do:

Assist with bingo sessions, by simple walk arounds and clearing spaces.
- Provide friendly customer service, ensuring players have a great experience.
- Follow organizational policies to maintain a professional and positive environment.
- Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to ensure smooth operations.
What Weâre Looking For:
- Local residents of Richmond Hill with reliable mode of transportation.
- Minimum conversational English skills to communicate effectively with participants and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures carefully.
- A high work ethic and reliability for scheduled shifts.
- Team-oriented individuals who thrive in a collaborative setting.
