• Connect newcomer parents with the School Team and School Settlement Workers and introduce available settlement support.
• Provide an overview of the school system, school policies, and expectations.
• Introduce the roles and available support of the ESL and Guidance Departments.
• Help parents understand how to access school and community resources to support their children’s academic and social adjustment.
