Parvaneh Eisakhan (she/her) brings over two decades of invaluable experience in immigrant settlement services, marked by her unwavering dedication and collaborative approach. Parvaneh’s journey at CCSYR began in February 2008, coinciding with the establishment of the Vaughan Welcome Centre. Over the past sixteen years, she has tirelessly served clients, starting as a Settlement Worker and progressing to Settlement Coordinator.

Her expertise encompasses intake, case management, data entry and management, referral to social support services, and program facilitation, making her an indispensable asset to the organization. Having obtained a Diploma in Assaulted Women’s and Children’s Counselling from George Brown College, Parvaneh’s passion for helping others is evident in every aspect of her work. Her attention to detail and commitment to helping others in vulnerable circumstances have significantly contributed to the success of programs.

In her role as Settlement Coordinator since October 2022, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership by supporting program delivery, evaluation, and strategic planning. She has played a pivotal role in coordinating settlement services for newcomer and families, ensuring clients receive the necessary support to navigate the challenges of settling into a new country and navigating systemic barriers.

Beyond her professional achievements, Parvaneh’s personal journey as an immigrant coming to Canada from Iran in 1998 enriches her ability to empathize with clients’ experiences. Fluent in Farsi, she fosters inclusivity and cultural sensitivity in all her interactions with various stakeholders. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring her passion for cooking, traveling, and cherishing moments with her family.
