Vladimir Mamaradlo

Vladimir Mamaradlo

Board Spiritual Advisor

Born in the Philippines, Vlad Mamaradlo immigrated to Canada with his parents when he was 8 years old. After 5 years as the Youth Minister at St. Paschal Baylon in Thornhill, Canada and with the Archdiocesan Office of Catholic Youth, Vlad was hired in 2009 as the Lay Youth Pastor at St. Joseph the Worker, also in Thornhill, Canada.

In 2015, Vlad completed his Masters of Divinity and Baccalaureate in Sacred Theology at the University of Toronto. In 2019, he became the Lay Youth Pastor at Sts. Peter and Paul in Mississauga, Canada. In January 2020, Vlad is the Chaplaincy Lead at the Halton Catholic District School Board, while still retaining his role at Sts. Peter and Paul.

Inspired by Jesus of Nazareth, he continues to work with youth and young adults, many of whom come from immigrant families and many of whom struggle with mental wellness. This is the reason he became involved with CCSYR whose equitable and inclusive services in counselling and settlement have greatly benefited those in the community.
