- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and reach.
- Create engaging and relevant content (visual and written) for various social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
- Manage the day-to-day activities on social media platforms, including scheduling the social media calendar, posting content, responding to comments and messages, and engaging with followers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather content, stories, and updates to share on social media.
- Monitor social media trends, tools, and applications to stay updated on best practices and emerging opportunities.
- Analyze social media performance metrics and provide regular reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field. Experience:
- Proven experience (2-3 years) in social media marketing, preferably in the non-profit or social services sector.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, their respective audiences, and best practices for engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with the ability to craft compelling content tailored to different platforms and audiences.
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

- 2+ years of experience in event planning, fundraising, sponsorship, or related role, preferably within the non-profit sector.

- Manage the implementation of the Human Resource Information System (Payworks).
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment processes: This includes creating job posts, conducting initial screens, arranging panel interviews with hiring managers, conducting reference checks, sending out offers to select candidates, and orienting new hires.
- Collaborate with the Agency accountant to set up biweekly payroll and act as backup for payroll in the absence of the accountant.
- Manage employee relations to drive forward the culture of the organization. Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution. Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances, providing fair and timely resolutions.
- Implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Organize employee recognition programs, events, and initiatives to foster a positive work culture.
- Proactively implement the performance management system including goal setting, performance reviews, and coaching. Monitor performance metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement an annual training calendar to foster a culture of learning and development by coordinating training sessions and workshops.
- Ensure all employee files are up-to-date and current. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.
- Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other fringe benefits. Educate employees on available benefits and facilitate enrollment processes.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Stay updated on relevant legislation and industry best practices.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working in a fast-paced work environment. Experience in the non-profit sector or a settlement agency is an asset.
- A degree or certificate in Human Resources. A HR designation or working towards a designation is an asset.
- Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality while developing effective relationships within the organization.
