Guanxin Hua Hua
Community Engagement Manager - Virtual Engagement and Digital Programs
Guanxin has been with CCSYR since 2008, where she started as a program manager of Library Settlement Partnerships (LSP) in York Region. Over the years, she has developed strong partnerships with nine public library systems and helped bring settlement services to public libraries. She planned and oversaw highly successful group sessions for newcomers across York Region public libraries. Her open communication and innovative approach have resulted in excellent involvement with stakeholders, staff, volunteers, and community partners. The Covid-19 pandemic has led to a surge in the use of digital technologies and opened new possibilities. Always keen to be an enabler of digital innovation in settlement service sector, Guanxin started leading the newly established Virtual Program team as the manager since June 2023. Before joining CCSYR, Guanxin worked for TNO for six years and Family Service Toronto for two years. She holds a Master’s Degree in Psychology from Peking University, China.
