Canada is not only known for its cold winter, but also its fantastic winter celebrations. With the holidays approaching, the Newcomers’ Club at Unionville High School will be hosting a Winter Celebration Event for newcomer students. Participants will experience Canada’s true winter and our spirit of love, through activities listed in the agenda. We hope that this event will bring some warm memories to everyone during this cold Canadian winter.
Come and join us in the Winter Celebration Event at UHS- Rm 236!!!
Activities include:
* Canadian Winter Culture event presentation: Hanukkah, Christmas, etc.
* Hot chocolate with melted marshmallows will be served
* Making gingerbread house (advised to not spit on the houses)
* Snowflake crafting
* Fun and interactive games
