Be Real, Be Me

A 5-week program that aims to raise awareness about the challenges that youth face with self-esteem and body confidence. The program teaches youth to critically evaluate appearance-related messages that they encounter.

By the end of the program, youth will:

• Better understand the causes and consequences of low body confidence and self-esteem.
• Learn how to identify their personal strengths, values, and goals.
• Develop skills to respond to appearance pressures and increase their self-esteem.
• Build awareness about different identities, experiences, and perspectives of others.
• Apply what they learn to create positive changes for themselves and others in their communities.
