The Integration Network program can help Newcomers adjust, adapt and integrate into Canadian society through social connections and shared activities.

For Newcomers to Canada

We will connect you with Canadian volunteers who will provide you with the opportunity to:
  • Practice English and French
  • Discover Canadian culture
  • Receive information on education and employment issues
  • Learn about Canadian services

How to Get Involved

Click here to download a Volunteer Application form. Fill it in and mail, fax or e-mail it to us. Instructions are on the form. You can also drop in to our Richmond Hill office locations, or just give us a call.   All IN volunteers must have lived in Canada for at least three years and be available two hours a week for six months a year.

Volunteer Information

The main role of an Integration Network volunteer is to assist new immigrants as they settle in Canada. This can be done by providing:
  • Group mentorship, advice and emotional support
  • Language assistance
  • Information on community services
  • Sharing social occasions and cultures
